ECO Contractors & Sons has been on the Companies House register since September 2015 under company number 09780053, and it is still run by the family whose name is over the door. Arban Peposhi is the active director; his co-director Artin held the seat from the company's incorporation in 2015. There is no branch network and no call centre — you speak to the family, and the family is on site.
The two halves of the business feed each other. We build private gardens — block-paved drives, sandstone patios, retaining walls, lawns, fencing and planting — and we carry out the commercial groundworks underneath other people's buildings: site clearance, drainage and soakaways, foundation excavations, block and beam floors, reinforced concrete and structural support. A garden team that also digs footings for a living tends to build a patio base that lasts.
We dig for a living
Half our work is commercial groundworks — footings, drainage, reinforced concrete. That is why the base under your patio gets excavated, consolidated and drained rather than raked level and hoped for.
One firm, both halves
Clearance, groundworks, drainage, walls, paving, turf and planting from the same family firm. Nobody hands over a half-dug hole and blames the next trade for what is in it.

If the existing base won't take the surface you want, or a repair will only buy a season, we will say so before you spend the money rather than after.

Resin bound surfacing over a sound, well-drained base — a seamless, permeable finish for drives and paths where loose gravel won't do.

A Victorian semi gets its front drive back
Clearance and excavation to formation level, a compacted sub-base, edge restraints set against the boundary, then block paving laid and cut in tight to the bay window and the front step. The new timber fence and gate posts went in as part of the same visit.
Sandstone terrace to a new rear extension
A full-width sandstone terrace laid across the back of a rendered single-storey extension, set to falls so water runs away from the bi-fold threshold rather than sitting against it, and cut in against the fence line and the garden path.
A sloping back garden turned into two usable levels
Brick retaining walls on proper footings to hold the change in level, stone steps set to consistent risers between the terraces, and planting used to soften the wall faces once the structure was in.
A front garden rebuilt from the ground up
Rendered retaining walls to hold the level against the path, brick paving to the drive, and a new planted bed set out along the boundary — levels, drainage and edges sorted before any surface went down.

Site visit & a written quote
We come out, walk the plot and look at the things that actually decide the job: levels, access for machinery, what the ground is made of and where the water goes. You get a written, itemised quote that shows the build-up under the surface, not just a figure for the surface itself. The visit and the quote cost you nothing.

Groundworks first, then the finish
Our own team does the dirty half — clearance, excavation, levels, sub-base, drainage and edgings — before a single block or slab is laid. That is the half nobody photographs and the half that decides whether a drive is still level in ten winters' time. We tell you what we've found underground as we find it.

Walk round & hand over
We walk the finished job with you, deal with the snags on the spot, clear the site properly and hand it over. We'll tell you how to look after the surface through its first year — jointing, sealing, watering new turf — and we're a phone call away afterwards, because Reigate is where we work.
